We’ve done and dusted Athens, and probably visited every temple ever created in the name of Zeus. The (walking) exercise has been good, and managed to walk most places. Staying in the Plaka district has it’s advantages, and we’ve really enjoyed the great cafes and market stalls in the narrow streets. There’s a bargain on every turn.
I’m glad we’ve done Athens to this extent as it has been a good experience for us all. We catch a plane for the island of Lesvos tomorrow, and looking forward to the next adventure. Will try to post more photos in the gallery soon.
